Water Quality Tests: The Causes and Effects
The United States Environmental Protection Agency has classified drinking water quality standards into two categories: primary and secondary. Primary drinking water contaminants cause adverse affects to human health, while secondary contaminants are constituents that cause cosmetic or aesthetic effects such as taste, odor, or color.
